As part of its festive program, Colombo Fort café, at Dutch Hospital complex offers a twist to the traditional dishes with an enjoyable selection of comfort food for the season from 14-25 December.
The menu offers Pan Seared Scallops with Lemongrass Sauce and Basil Mint Salad, and Alec’s Christmas Pasta (along with a secret homemade pasta sauce straight from his grandma’s recipe stash).
The homemade festive special is the Pineapple Glazed Smoked Ham, which is slow roasted smoked ham lightly glazed with fresh pineapple, served with country gravy, roasted vegetables, horseradish mashed potatoes and rustic bread.
