Hilton Colombo’s Executive Chef Daniel Leah has created a perfect menu with delicious pies and puddings and it will be served at the Echelon Pub from 15 to 30 September.
Perfect crust pies are made with delicious fillings such as braised Aussie steak, in thick gravy incrusted in a short crust pastry served with minted peas and butter mash, chicken breast with mushrooms in a white sauce served with lightly buttered carrots and parsley potatoes and Daniel’s favourite steak and kidney pie, which is brisket of Aussie beef and kidneys cooked in red wine jus with short crust pastry served with garlic mash and pan gravy.
There will be seafood and vegetarian options as well available during the promotion. All dishes are accompanied with crispy potato wedges or English mash, salad or vegetables and traditional gravy.
To top it off there will be sweet fantasies too. From sticky toffee pudding served with warm vanilla custard, jam roly poly with custard, lemon meringue pie is just to name a few.
