EH Sausages celebrates season with consumers

Elephant House Sausages recently concluded its exciting seasonal competition titled ‘Celebrate good taste with EH Sausages’. The promotion culminated with a number of participants walking away with a host of prizes. The month long competition titled ‘Chef Deen’s Cookery Demonstration’ was conducted on E FM and listeners were given partially completed EH Sausage recipes and required to guess what the missing ingredient was. The recipes were examples of the tasty treats that home chefs could whip up for their family and friends during the festive season “We know that many people consider EH Sausages a special treat for their families and what better time of year to treat your family than the holiday season. We received a tremendous response with over 1,500 listeners wanting to be a part of this competition,” said Nuwan Rathnayaka, Asst. Brand Manager, Elephant House Sausages. Daily winners from the radio competition were entered into a grand draw and eight lucky participants were entitled to either a LED TV or a year’s supply of EH Sausages. In order to qualify for the grand prizes participants had to prepare a platter of EH Sausages as part of their Christmas fare. The EH Sausages team visited the homes of participants on Christmas Day to share the renowned good taste of EH with the winners. “The idea behind this promotion was to engage with our customers and interact with them during the festive season. It was wonderful to see the effort that families had gone to prepare their own unique version of EH Sausages for Christmas. There is definitely no doubt that EH is the legendary taste of sausages in the country,” added Rathnayaka. Elephant House Sausages have been a distinctively Sri Lankan brand since its launch in 1966, providing consumers with premium products that are on par with international standards.
