Tuna is known as one of the healthy food since it contains Omega 3 fatty acids, good source of protein, and high in potassium and vitamin B. With a wealth of nutrients Tuna takes a lead role at MLH from 10 to 16 September all day at the Governors’ Terrace. “To make the dish a delicious and healthy tuna, recipe selection is also very crucial,” states Chef Indika.



Therefore, Chef Indika and his team have surfaced a delicious degustation menu with the ultimate in yellow fin tuna. A six course journey through the best tuna tasting like Carpaccio Island Style, Tuna Steak and Quail Eggs, smoked, sandwiched and even made to delicious Ravioli.

The price starts at Rs. 2,400 nett with the best of ingredients to highlight Tuna. Here is the menu that is yours to taste:

‘Sandwiched with the essence’: Pickled Lovi Tartare, Marinated Squid Florets, Local Rucola. ‘Signature Ravioli’: Karankoku, Smoked Dandila Puree, Passion Fruit Leaf Pesto, Grana Padano.

Carpaccio ‘Island Style’: Roasted Curry, Young Coconut Salsa, Virgin Coconut Oil, Roasted Coconut Flakes, Sarana. Tuna Steak and Eggs: Olive Oil Poached Steak, Smoked Kaliya Hash, Quail Egg and Bacon Vinaigrette. Smoked and ‘Sri Lankanized’: Olu Rice, Pickled Wing Beans, Curry Broth, Biling Caponata.
