Tired of eating the same food, the same taste with the same ingredients? Then come to Abans Elite Kollupitiya this Saturday 10 September at 10 a.m. and learn the fine art of creative cooking demonstrated by a celebrity chef from Creative Kitchen.

Creative Kitchen is an internationally recognised, City & Guilds approved training centre. It is a new concept of culinary school headed by a qualified and experienced chef and instructor with over 30 years of experience around the world. Creative Kitchen offers diplomas in Bakery, Patisserie and Culinary Art.

Creative Cooking is all about preparing unusual meals, using ingredients that one would not usually use in everyday cooking. By so doing, you can conjure up some very exciting and extraordinary recipes. The trick is to know how and which different food items blend and contrast with each other to provide delightful and exceptionally mouth-watering recipes. Common Sri Lankan ingredients such as ginger, jaggery and rambutan can be effectively used to turn everyday food into special delicacies.

Abans Cookery Demonstrations with a difference have always attracted a large audience of housewives who are eager to learn new methods and recipes of preparing simple but wholesome meals for their families. Recipes for the day will be Thai Ginger Chicken, Jaggery Beef (with red coconut curry sauce), Penne-Alla-Funghi (creamy mushroom with pasta) and Rambutan Smoothie.

Be sure that you reserve your place for the Creative Cooking demonstration on 10 September by calling 2565294/5 early to avoid disappointment.
