Galadari wins Gold at 10th International Fine Food Health Competition

The Galadari Hotel recently secured the Gold Group Medal at the 10th International Fine Food Health Competition (GEM Cup) held at the Pegasus Reef, organised by the International Food Health Institute Beijing together with PAN Global Travels and Tours Ltd.
The purpose of the event was to promote a healthy food culture in all nations and regions with the idea of encouraging a long and healthy life through a healthy diet. This competition enabled competitors to communicate skills, share knowledge and expand their culinary horizons.
The competition was held under the categories of Team, Individual and Individual Triathlon. The Galadari Hotel’s team including Chefs Kalum Rathnaweera, Priyantha Gunathilake and Sampath Dissanayake secured the Gold Group medal in the competition. The team had to prove their skills by cooking four hot dishes including a soup, two cold meats and two pastry dishes.
