Aiding the Chef in the development of the menu that plays tribute to the extraordinary depth of Chinese Sichuan cuisine is Chef Li Qu Wu, an expert in Sichuan and Shandong food, and Chef Wang Shunyan, a master in the Sichuan and Guangdong varieties of dim sum.

Using the freshest of ingredients, the menu transports diners to China starting with tender dim sums to fiery appetisers to delectable main courses to rich desserts, all enough to satisfy even the most discerning palate.

Diners could savour a variety of dim sums like spinach and carrot, prawn hargao, lobster and scallops, chicken and coriander and many more. Mains will include wok fried lobster with chili and black bean sauce, stir fried scallops with mushrooms in oyster sauce, lagoon crab with one’s choice of sauce, deep fried cuttlefish with Sichuan chili and butter, prawn in hoisin sauce, lamb in Sichuan style and Master Chef Bai Ping’s traditional Beijing duck will be available during lunch and dinner at the Golden Dragon.

Braised bean curd with selected mushroom is a must for all vegetarians, while the bamboo shoot with chili soya sauce, baby corn, broccoli and Chinese mushroom, wok fried zucchini with baby pakchoy, stir fried spinach with fresh red chili and cauliflower Hong Kong style are sure to ignite with its spice notes.

The light silk drapes in warm hues denote peace and harmony and are striking against the heady leather chairs and woody tables.
