Culinary Art Food Expo 2015 this time showcased a plethora of best local and international culinary expertise.
Culinary art event was held on the theme ‘From Shelf to the Table’ and had two segments, a culinary art competition and a trade exhibition on hospitality, food, processed food and packaging. The Chefs Guild of Sri Lanka once again proved that Sri Lanka houses many a talent and show casing the talent is vital for the growth of the culinary expertise.
Elephant House and Krest brands from Keells Foods participated in this cause to support the chefs and the Chefs Guild of Sri Lanka and sponsored a signature dish made by the veterans who showed prowess and talent in bringing out the best ever masterpieces.
The Keells specialised catering team had the opportunity to engage with many who visited the Keells Stall which created an ambiance to savour and devour the great tastes of best Keells meets. Some of the delicacies such as Elephant House Black Forest sausages, Cumberland, Pork Sensation and all-time favourite Elephant house Chicken Sausages and the Millennium hams caught the eye of the many participants and visitors.
Neil Samarasinghe, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Keells Foods, was present to give away the award and opined: “Keells Foods Products will always make an attempt to work hand in hand to build and groom the culinary industry of Sri Lanka.”
