Operated by Lanka Premier Foods Ltd., a subsidiary of Expolanka Holdings, ‘Paan Paan’, has opened its lush new outlet at 6B Alfred House Road in Colpetty recently.
The new outlet is situated just off R.A. de Mel Mawatha in close proximity to Queens Road. With its picturesque surroundings, customers will be fascinated by its adorned beauty and the great variety of goodies it has to offer. The eatery is open for your convenience from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily including holidays.
The new outlet is home to a wide range of bread, pastries, sweets and a sandwich bar that takes centre stage among ‘Paan Paan’s’ many other indulgences. The full range of Paan Paan breads are available from health breads, white breads, French bread, Italian breads, buns, croutons, bread sticks, muffins, savouries and sweets. Also some of the new products are croissants which are available in almond and chocolate as well.
Lanka Premier Foods Director Aboo Yusoof said: “The immense success of our flagship outlet on Lorenz Road created the platform to launch our second outlet and the attention thus received has been immense. Introducing not only a sandwich bar but many other delicacies for our customers was a goal we wanted to achieve and we are humbled by its result.” At the sandwich bar, a walk-in customer can choose from five types of nine inch long submarine buns available in nutritious brown bread, French baguette, white bread, and Ciabatta buns. You can choose your own fillings and some noteworthy mentions available are the smoked chicken, chicken salad, fresh tuna, roast beef, cheese and tomato and grilled veggies.
Customers can further choose the garnishing, from lettuce, zucchini, tomato, gherkins, and onion the choices are endless. Customised submarine will not be complete without the sauce, and Paan Paan offers you a choice of three mouth smacking sauces such as rosemary mustard, honey mayonnaise and a chilli sauce. Each of the sauces, are specially formulated by Paan Paan and are uniquely different. The prices of the sandwiches range from Rs. 375 to Rs. 450 for a filled nine inch submarine sandwich.
Yusoof also added, “We have constantly added more varieties and options for the customer to choose from and we will be launching a number of new treats in the near future too. A stand out product that we have introduced is the purple corn bread. Its rich flavour and texture will entice you and you can only get it here at Paan Paan.”
One can also kick back and enjoy their chilled fresh almond milk and chocolate milk. The delicious almond milk is made from natural almonds without the use of flavouring or essences. The chocolate milk is made from coverture Swiss chocolate without the use of added cocoa powder.
A variety of coffee made using Sri Lankan coffee beans is available for you and the choices of flavours are boundless. Customers can enjoy the likes of a Cappuccino, Latte, Café Mocha, Espresso or even a regular brewed coffee. Tea enthusiasts can also try out the t-sips brand of black tea, green tea and milk tea.
