Ramas Tea House, following up on its first-of-its-kind ‘Fine Tea Bar’ in Rajagiriya, hopes to elevate the premium tea experience by delivering a carefully turned out assortment of handcrafted tea-based main courses and desserts including tea-inspired food offerings such as home-made Green Tea Frozen Yoghurt, Green tea ice-cream, Fresh Strawberries with Cream, Mango with Cream including other tea-infused recipes, making the ritual of tea more elevated and enjoyable for customers.
Almost three years after its inception, the tea pub was inspired by the passion of its owner Sarathchandra Ramanayake, whose vision was to create a greater awareness of the benefit of tea amongst the younger generation, in addition to all tea lovers. The aim of this modern and cosy tea pub cum restaurant is to build an immersive experience that guides both tea enthusiasts and casual tea drinkers to a rich journey through a tea pub experience.
“By selecting only the finest premium loose leaf teas, Ramas has built a strong reputation amongst its clientele. We are excited to help create new and innovative ways to delight our customers. Our home-made specialty Hot Garlic and Tartar Sauces are in great demand and are only served in-house since it is always freshly made,” commented Ramas Tea House co-director Shereen Ramanayake.
Additionally, customers will be able to purchase from a wide range of loose leaf teas and tea blends from the in-house tea bar. Pool table with lounge and free Wi-Fi facilities are also available.
