Siam House, reputed for being the best place to have an authentic Thai meal in Colombo, is celebrating its 19th anniversary this May.
In marking this momentous occasion, the restaurant will be inviting the Executive Chef, Somsak Mungkrudorn, from Golden Tulip Hotel in Thailand to serve its ever-expanding loyal clientele with authentic Thai cuisine. Chef Somsak has more than 30 years of experience and has worked in Thailand, Germany, Cyprus and South Africa.
During the 19th anniversary celebrations of Siam House, Chef Somsak will be introducing new flavourful Thai dishes and desserts. The guests patronising the restaurant during the promotion period of 23 May to 27 May will be able to enjoy show cooking from Chef Somsak and also receive a 19% discount marking the 19th anniversary of the restaurant.
The restaurant which dates back to 1993 is known for serving the elegant communities of the Colombo city and tourists with authentic Thai cuisine using the best ingredients from Thailand.
Siam House has been awarded the ‘Best Restaurant in the City – 2011’ title by the Municipal Council of Colombo in recognition of the excellence in cleanliness and food hygiene.
