‘Thai Pongal Specials’ at Galadari

The Galadari Hotel offers a special Thai Pongal treat at its Indian restaurant ‘Flavors’ on 14 January from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Come and experience a special a-la-carte menu. Celebrating this harvest festival the restaurant offers a variety of soups, starters, rice dishes, main curries and breads. The delicious selection of soup choices includes Tomato Rasam and Sabjee Shorba. The fantastic starters include Onion Pakora, Aloo Tiki, Capsicum Bajee and more. For the rice dish fans some tempting choices are made available, these include Pouli Sadham – a Chitrannam flavoured rice and Kabuli Pulao – rice that is pulao flavoured with chickpeas. The main curries include a wide selection made from a range of ingredients. These include deep fried cottage cheese in rich cashew gravy, dry kidney beans cooked in tomato gravy and yellow lentils cooked and tempered with garlic and mint. One can also select from a range of breads which include Pudina Paratha a traditional tandoori style flaky bread and mint flavours, Tandoori Kulcha an oven baked flat bread with cumin flavours, in addition to this you can also try out the mouth-watering Chapathi and Chilly Naan.
