Easter is the completion of the Passion of Christ, preceded by Lent, includes a 40-day period of fasting, prayer and penance for Christians all over the world. It heralds a new beginning for Christians instilling hope and rebirth in the hearts of many.
An amazing array of the finest gourmet dishes, meticulously prepared by their Master Chef Dhaithya Krawage and the team will be on offer during the Easter Brunch at the Latitude from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The splendid array of dishes cater to each person’s unique taste as the tantalising spread includes salads, grills, carvings, a pasta counter, juice counter, seafood, egg stations, dim sum, soups, desserts and the main buffet. Each individual is special and their unique palettes are catered to at the Easter Brunch at Latitude by their impressive menu which includes a lavish spread of cuisines ranging from Sri Lankan, Indian, Japanese and Chinese counters. The fascination with each countries authentic dishes prompted the chef to conjure favourites such as from the seafood display marinated cold prawns with dips, oyster on ice, jumbo shell prawns, mussels, lobster on ice and many more.
Smoked duck salad, Greek style vegetable salad, grilled beef and olive oil plus 10 varieties of single salads will be on the cards too. Hot soups like oven roasted sweet potato soup with garlic chips and tomato flavoured seafood soup, from the mains king fish steak, roasted stuffed chicken and asparagus risotto, braised lamb leg, pan fried salmon steak and jumbo prawns and much more, while the Japanese corner will offer nigiri, sushi and sashimi. Mutton biryani and Kolhapuri chicken and many more Indian dishes will be on offer during the Easter Brunch.
With over 25 varieties, the desserts are simply divine! The tempting delicacies are specially prepared for those who crave sweet things. A special assortment Easter goodies, chocolates and pralines are available for the chocolate lovers.
The children will be able to specially enjoy Easter egg hunting and many more games during the Easter Brunch.
At Pebbles, you will be able to buy gifts for your friends and family with an assortment of goodies ranging from delicately handcrafted Chocolate Easter Bunnies to tempting hot cross buns and Easter Bread with coloured eggs. Marzipan Easter egg boxes of different sizes also hold the allure of Easter and would make as marvellous gifts. Easter Brunch is priced at Rs. 3,500 nett per person and Rs. 2,000 nett per child.
