Come celebrate the month of romance this February at Mount Lavinia Hotel with the month themed as “an affair with chocolate”. There is no better place to celebrate this month dedicated to love other than MLH, a popular icon of love built on the love story of a local dancer Lovina and British Governor Sir Thomas Maitland.
MLH has arranged a whole host of events which will indeed be an affair to remember.
February 14 marks a special day in the MLH calendar. Being a hotel built on a timeless love story, it takes pride in presenting a special Valentine’s seafood dinner prepared by Chef Doug Dillard with his culinary expertise all the way from Maryland, USA.
Chef Doug has been in the food and hospitality industry for almost 12 years. He’s currently serving as Executive Sous Chef for the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in the premier Harbour East neighbourhood. Maryland is famous for its seafood centred in Chesapeake Bay, specialising in catch such as blue crab, oysters, striped bass, and menhaden.
This Valentine’s Chef Doug will keep you hooked with a glorious six course meal, with fresh produce, creating his seafood masterpiece and making it a night to remember with his signature dishes making you crave more.
Seafood Cove is the place to be this February, so come fall in love all over again with your love for good food, smooth calypso music and the romantic atmosphere exploding your taste buds in a seafood frenzy this Valentine’s.
