Tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka in May was recorded at 1,497 persons with Europe emerging as the largest source market for the month.
The figure was despite a 10-day ban on international passengers during May. In April there were 4,168 tourists.
Consequently, tourist arrivals for Jan to May was recorded at 15,294 persons, down by 97%.
