100 Chinese in town for business

A 100-member investor delegation from Sichuan and Guang Provinces in China will be in Sri Lanka at the invitation of Sri Lanka China Trade and Investment Promotion Chamber from today (29) to 1 December. The chamber has organised a business forum and B2B business meetings with Sri Lankan business organisations in association with the Provincial Government of the North Western Province at the Galadari Hotel Colombo on Sunday, 1 December, commencing at 8.30 a.m. Prospective local companies and entrepreneurs are expected at this business forum, where discussions will be held for the formation of Joint Ventures and promoting bilateral trade and investments for mutual benefits. The following business sectors will be represented: steel-related products, medical equipment, lights and fittings, food and dairy items, textiles, agriculture, automobiles, suppliers and products, generators, liquor, electronics, and electronic equipments petroleum, household and daily use produces, building materials, furniture, project management, energy conservation, merchandise wholesale, hydraulic machinery, ceramic, trade, corrosion prevention, silk and leather.
