Thirteen Parliamentary Committees, including the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) and several Ministerial Consultative Committees, are scheduled to meet during the next three weeks.
Secretary-General of Parliament Dhammika Dasanayake said officials of the National Film Corporation have been summoned before COPE next week while the Committee on High Posts will also meet next week.
The Consultative Committee on Highways will meet on 19 July while the Consultative Committee on Mass Media is scheduled to meet on 20 July under the chairmanship of Minister of Mass Media Keheliya Rambukwella.
The Consultative Committee on Tourism, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Tourism Prasanna Ranatunga, the Consultative Committee on Justice under the chairmanship of the Minister of Justice Ali Sabry, and the Consultative Committee on Health under the chairmanship of the Minister of Health Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi will meet on 3 August.
The Consultative Committee on Foreign Affairs will meet on 4 August under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.
Other Ministerial Consultative Committees that will meet next month include the one on Environment, Fisheries and Wildlife.
