The 15 MPs who were tested for COVID-19 earlier this week have tested negative, Parliament officials said yesterday.
This includes Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.
PCR tests were a carried out on another 16 MPs yesterday at the Parliament complex.
The tests are being carried out after three MPs tested positive for the coronavirus last week.
Meanwhile party leaders will meet on Monday to discuss the business of the house for the next week.
Sittings are scheduled for Tuesday (19 January) but it is uncertain if the House will meet as usual due to fears over COVID-19.
