167 more COVID-19 fatalities raise death toll to 6,263

Health officials on Sunday confirmed 167 more COVID-19 deaths, which raised the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 6,263.

The fatalities confirmed on Sunday consist of 130 persons over the age of 60, 36 persons between ages 30 and 59, and one person below the age of 30. The Epidemiology Unit states that 75.41% of the total fatalities are above the age of 60, 23.49% are between ages 30 and 59, and 1.1% are below the age of 30.

A total of 103 deaths confirmed on Sunday were male and 64 were female. Of the country’s COVID-19 fatalities, 3,624 are male and 2,639 are female.
