Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa will present the Budget for 2022 to Parliament on 12 November.

The Budget, the first for the newly appointed Finance Minister, will be presented at 2 p.m., Government sources said.

The debate on the Appropriation Bill will be held for 26 days, starting from 13 November with the vote on the Second Reading of the Bill scheduled for 22 November.

The Committee Stage debate on the Bill will continue till 10 December.
