Minster of Civil Aviation Priyankara Jayaratne has appointed a four-member Committee to report on the Five Year Plan submitted by the SriLankan Airlines for the future advancement of the national carrier.
Ministry Secretary Dr. Ravindra Ruberu has been appointed as the Chairman of the Committee and the other members are management consultant Dr. Rajan Sara, chartered accountant and Upali Group Finance Director Rohan Fernando and Colonial Motors Managing Director and CEO Mohan Ratnayake. “The Committee will study and submit their report to Minister Jayaratne within two months,” according to Dhammika Attygalle, Advisor to the Minister of Civil Aviation.
