The five honourable mentions in alphabetical order are DFCC Bank PLC, Global Rubber Industries Ltd., NDB Bank PLC, People’s Bank and Sampath Bank PLC.
The event was graced by Secretary to the President Saman Ekanayake as the Chief Guest and the Deputy Head of Mission for Japan in Sri Lanka Katsuki Kotaro delivered the keynote speech.
The esteemed panel of judges were also recognised at the event, which lauded the most admired organisations in the country.
The evaluations involved included a Financial Evaluation done by a team of CIMA members (CGMAs), after which the KPMG team ratified the scoring and selected the Top 20 organisations for the next round. The second round included a presentation by the companies to the panel of judges. This was the most exciting element of the competition as almost all presentations had the Top Management present.
The Assurance Partner for the awards was KPMG, whilst the Official Telecommunications Partner was Dialog Axiata PLC. The awards partner was AIA Insurance, with Ceylinco and NSB Silver Sponsors, while Vidullanka PLC, LOLC and CSE were associate sponsors.
The organisers – AICPA&CIMA and ICCSL both presented their budget proposals for the 2024 National Budget to Ekanayake at the event.
