Air France on Friday returned to Sri Lanka as part of resumption of its thrice weekly flights from Paris with the inaugural aircraft receiving traditional welcome.
Deploying a 297 seat-Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Air France’s resumption in owing to the on-going winter season 2022-23.
Air France-KLM Indian Sub-Continent General Manager Claude Sarre said: “We are happy to resume services between Colombo - Paris with thrice weekly flights and gradually increasing to five weekly operations during the winter schedule.
“This is following our ambition to expand the Air France - KLM footprint in the Indian Sub-Continent. We look forward to welcoming customers to experience a modern on-board product and high-quality services.”
The airline said customers from Colombo can further connect to the global network of Air France comprising of over 170 destinations, via the convenient hub of Paris, Charles de Gaulle.
