The Civil Aviation Authority (CAASL) has permitted airlines to fly in any number of fully vaccinated passengers per flight with immediate effect.

However, such passengers must have completed 14 days since being fully vaccinated and must carry their vaccination certificate.

This includes passengers arriving for hotel quarantine and Government quarantine, stated a directive issued to airlines by CAASL Director General and CEO Capt. Themiya Abeywickrama.

Airlines also can bring in passengers without any limitations if they are arriving under the Sri Lanka Tourism bio-bubble.

Carriage of other passengers is limited to 75 per flight.
