Anura Fernando appointed Ceybank Asset Management Chairman and CEO

Anura Fernando

Formerly of the private sector, Anura Fernando has been appointed as the new Chairman and CEO of Ceybank Asset Management Ltd. (AML).

Fernando is a multifaceted personality being a cost management accountant, equity market specialist and one-time investor entrepreneur before taking up to politics though unsuccessfully at the last General Election. 

He was one of the co-founders of the Viyathmaga movement.

Ceybank AML is licensed and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) to manage unit trusts and investment portfolios. As a leading asset management company, it caters to a wide variety of investor needs. The company is owned by four giants in the industry; Bank of Ceylon (BOC), Sri Lanka Insurance Ltd. (SLIC), Carson Cumberbatch PLC (Carsons) and Unit Trust of India (UTI).
