Attempts to disrupt P’ment process to select new leaders will be treason: Sajith

SJB and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa yesterday said the mandate received by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the SLPP Government is over and charged them with ruination of the country. “The SJB-led opposition is ready to lead the rebuilding of the country and the economy,” Premadasa said.

“The Opposition will lead in appointing a new President and Prime Minister and any attempts within Parliament to disrupt this process will be viewed as an act of treason,” Premadasa said.
