Australia’s Bill Zeng explores investment in Sri Lanka

Melbourne-headquartered Investors Direct Financial Group Co-Founder and Managing Director and Australian Education City Co-Founder and Executive Chairman Bill Zheng last week had extensive discussions with officials of the Board of Investment. 

Bill is currently exploring opportunities in Sri Lanka to promote an education hub in the Western Province. 

Education and Technology Ministry Secretaries also participated in the discussion at the BOI. 

Bill leads the Australian Education City (AEC) team to win the international tender for the 412ha Victorian government owned land at East Werribee Employment Precinct in Melbourne, and secured AU$ 3 billion equity investment to develop the proposed $ 31 billion, 6 million sqm GFA education city and innovation district that can deliver 90,000+ long term local jobs.
