Addressing at the weekly post-Cabinet meeting media briefing on Wednesday, Cabinet Spokesman and Minister Vijitha Herath noted that bids were solicited through Limited National Competitive Bidding to ensure a transparent and efficient selection process.
The newly awarded counters are expected to enhance currency exchange services at the country’s main international airport, providing travellers with convenient access to foreign currency before departure.
