Brand Finance Lanka, the pioneering brand valuation and strategy firm, has released its 20th consecutive annual review of Sri Lanka’s 100 most valuable brands.
Announcing the release, Brand Finance Lanka Chairman Ruchi Gunewardene said: “The year under review has been financially the most challenging environment that businesses and brands in Sri Lanka have operated in, resulting in the annual index decreasing by a massive 16%”.
Dialog retained its most valuable brand position for the fourth consecutive year, ranked just ahead of Bank of Ceylon.
Brand Finance Lanka Managing Director Aliakber Alihussain said: “Following Covid-19 and then the economic crisis, brands have had no respite in the challenges they have faced. However, looking to the future there is some optimism, as the country is in a better place today than at the same time last year.”
This annual review of brands is the most comprehensive analysis bringing together customised market research and publicly available financial data.
