Central Bank Governor Prof. W.D. Lakshman yesterday presented the new Rs. 1,000 note to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa who is also the Finance Minister, at his official residence in Colombo. The Prime Minister and the Governor also engaged in a cordial discussion on the current state of the economy and future development activities.
