CBSL buys $148 m forex from the market in April

The Central Bank (CBSL) has been a net purchaser for FX from the market almost since August 2022 with an accumulation of $ 1.2 billion till April 2023 according to charts.lk during the same period, Sri Lanka’s international reserves increased by $ 940 million. The LKR appreciation was by 12.4% for the same period.
