The much awaited CEO Forum of the Daily FT-CICRA Holdings organised 10th Annual Cyber Security Summit will be held today from 6.00 p.m. at the Oak Room of the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.

“Is the Board Prepared to Respond to a Cyber Attack?” is the theme of the CEO Forum which will highlight the importance of integrating cyber security into strategic boardroom discussions. Designed for senior executives, the session will offer actionable recommendations to safeguard business operations, financial health, and reputation amidst rising cyber threats.

The forum will comprise of a panel discussion involving Cyber Security Evangelist and EC Council Master Trainer Belly Rachdianto, Visa Head of Risk Services, South Asia Vipin Suraliya, Google Cloud Security Head of Security Engineer Sijesh Sreedhar, Sysco LABS Director – Engineering and Architecture Nishantha Hettiarachchi and CICRA Holdings Group CEO/Director Boshan Dayaratne.

The CEO Forum is a prelude to the full day Cyber Security Summit tomorrow at the Cinnamon Grand with Public Security Ministry Secretary Ravi Seneviratne as the Chief Guest. The full day summit will include expert keynotes, guest speakers and panellists sharing latest insights.

The Summit will deal with issues such as “The rise of cyber scams and how to detect and prevent fraud; Data breaches and leakages: Protecting sensitive information; Cyber security in the age of AI: New frontiers, new risks, and Global threats and local impact: Securing critical infrastructure.” The Summit will conclude with a night hack demonstrating some of the latest trends and threats.
