Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) Chairman Prof. Charitha Herath has summoned the Board of Investment (BOI) tomorrow.
COPE is to take up the Auditor General’s Report on the Evaluation of Performance of the Process of Establishment of New Export Processing Zones.
Separately, the National Youth Services Council along with Youth Services Ltd., Land Reform Commission, Geological Survey and Mines Bureau, along with Technical Services Ltd., Gal Oya Plantation Ltd., and the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority has been summoned before COPE on 16, 17, 23, 24 and 30 November respectively.
The University Grants Commission, National Institute of Business Management, Sri Lanka Foundation Institute and the Marine Environmental Protection Authority has been summoned for on 1, 2, 7 and 9 December respectively.
The meetings are scheduled to be held this week onwards in accordance with the health guidelines with the participation of the required officials.
