CPC reduces diesel prices

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has announced that it has decided to reduce the price of a litre of Lanka white diesel by Rs. 10 with immediate effect.

The new price of a litre of Auto Diesel will be Rs. 430.

The announcement further states that the prices of other types of fuel will remain unchanged.

Accordingly, the price of litre of 92 Octane Petrol is Rs. 450, 95 Octane Petrol (Euro 4) is Rs. 540, Super Diesel is Rs. 510 and kerosene is Rs. 87.

CPC further said that it is mandatory for all filling stations to only issue fuel through the National Fuel Pass, also known as QR Code system, already introduced by the Ministry of Power and Energy.
