Cabinet approves submission of Colombo Port City Economic Commission Act to Parliament 

The Cabinet of Ministers on Monday approved a proposal to submit orders enacted under the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Act No. 11 of 2021 to the Parliament.

The Colombo Port City (Offshore Company Registration) Order No. 1 of 2022 enacted under the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Act No. 11 of 2021 has been published in the Gazette Extraordinary bearing No. 2306/54 dated 17 November 2022. 

The proposal to this effect submitted by the President in his capacity as the Investment Promotion Minister was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
