Cabinet nod for greater SL-Korea ties

The Cabinet of Ministers this week backed the Government’s fresh efforts to enhance bilateral ties with South Korea.

Among approved measures were the signing of an MOU between Sri Lanka and South Korea on investment promotion based on a proposal by Development Strategies and International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrama and the signing of an agreement on cooperation in the fields of culture, arts, education, youth affairs and sport as proposed by Foreign Affairs Minister Thilak Marapana.
