Cabinet nod for setting up of National Policy and Planning Bureau

Inter-Ministry Task Force on industries and enterprises also approved by Cabinet

Cabinet this week approved a proposal to set up a National Policy and Planning Bureau for the formation of economic policies to accomplish the entire economic goals of the country.

The proposal was made by President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.

Cabinet also approved a proposal by Minister of Industries and Supply Chain Management Minister Wimal Weerawansa to establish an Inter Ministry Task Force chaired by the President for the development of industries and enterprises.
