Cargills Bank has said it has identified a cyber security event involving unauthorised access to a peripheral system within its infrastructure.
“Upon detection, we acted swiftly to fortify our systems, isolate the affected components, and engage top-tier cyber security experts to thoroughly assess the scope of the threat, mitigate any potential impact, and safeguard the interests of our customers and the bank,” Cargills said in a statement.
“There have been no disruptions to our banking operations as a result of this event,” it added.
