Cash bonanza for netball and athletes 

Each netball player of the victorious Asian Champion team received Rs. 2 million by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board and Commonwealth. Silver medallist Rs. 10 million, bronze medallist Rs. 5 million and coaches 25% from the sports fund, Media Office President announced last night. 

In a related development President Ranil Wickremesinghe last night attended the felicitation ceremony organised for the Champions of Asia (cricket, netball and commonwealth) at Cinnamon Lakeside.
