Authorities have published a new version of bi-lateral debt where the previous (Sep investor presentation) total debt was $ 14.1 billion and the latest version is $ 11.2 billion.

Probably close to $ 2.9 billion of Chinese bi-lateral debt would have been reclassified under commercial debt.

The new figures make China weigh less than 50% of the bilateral debt stock allowing more weight to the west to proceed with the restructuring process.
