The Consulate General of Sri Lanka to Dubai and Northern Emirates has announced the participation of a distinguished 20-member delegation at the Industry Expo 2024, taking place in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 19 to 23 June.
This delegation comprises representatives from various sectors, including the Sri Lankan Business Council (SLBC) for Dubai and Northern Emirates, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce, ESPA, petroleum, Lulu Hypermarket, and various other key stakeholders in the UAE.
Upon the Consulate General’s request, SLBC, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and other key entities have organised this delegation to strengthen bilateral trade and investment relations.
The delegation will participate in a series of events including the Investment Forum, meeting with the Industries Minister and other officials, B2B meetings, and meetings with business support organisations.
The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Dubai believes that this delegation will significantly strengthen the economic ties between the UAE and Sri Lanka, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship and paving the way for future collaborations.
The Industry Expo 2024 is organised by the Ministry of Industries and the Industrial Development Board (IDB) with a main objective of creating a platform to bring together industry related local and international stakeholders. The Expo will represent 25 industry sectors and over 1300 exhibitors, covering a wider products and services portfolio during the 05 days of exhibition.
