DDR wipes out CBSL reserves

Under the Domestic Debt Restructuring (DDR), the Government restructured the LKR-denominated loans obtained from CBSL and EPF in September, reducing the book value of its investment. CBSL revised the balance sheet data to reflect the hit it absorbed during the process.

By the end of October, CBSL had managed to secure its issued capital of Rs. 50 billion which the Government funded, according to charts.lk
