The ICCSL-Daily FT organised high profile webinar titled ‘Sri Lanka’s Debt Sustainability – The Current Challenges’ will be held today from 4 p.m. onwards online.
Organised in partnership with MBA Alumni Association of University of Colombo, CA Sri Lanka and Ceylon Innovent, the webinar will be aired on the Facebook pages of ICCSL, Daily FT and Lanka News Web social media pages.
The keynotes will be delivered by Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal and a former Chief Economist of the World Bank Group and currently Professor of the Practice of Development at Georgetown University USA, Prof. Shanta Devarajan.
The webinar will be followed by a panel discussion featuring former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India Dr. Duvvuri Subbarao, former Senior Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, OECD Head of the Asia Desk Kensuke Tanaka, United Nations Economics and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific Acting Section Chief Financing for Development Dr. Alberto Isgut, former Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India Dr. R. Subramaniam Gandhi, University of Rotterdam Netherlands Senior Lecturer in Economics and ISS Associate Professor Dr. Howard Nicholas, Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka Executive Director Dr. Dushni Weerakoon, National University of Singapore Non-Resident Senior Fellow and a former Director of Research of the ADB Institute in Japan Dr. Ganeshan Wignaraja and Lanka Rating Agency CEO Adrian Perera.
The session will be moderated by Daily FT Editor and CEO Nisthar Cassim and ICCSL Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody.
