The Daily FT, ACCA and the International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka together with WIM, Cornucopia, CIMA, AGXA, and Global Greenwich Colombo will be conducting a webinar titled ‘IMF agenda: Opportunities and challenges for Sri Lanka post 2025.’ The webinar will be aired on Saturday (11 January 2025) from 4 p.m. onwards.
This webinar will be broadcasted live via Facebook platforms of ICCSL, Daily FT, CIMA and ACCA.
It will host several eminent foreign as well as Sri Lankan experts who are conversant in the subject. The keynotes will be delivered by Advocata Institute Chairman Murtaza Jafferjee and Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service Professor of the Practice of International Development Shantayanan Devaraja.
The panel will comprise of Department of Economics Senior Professor Sirimal Abeyratne, OPA Vice President; Sri Lanka Economic Association Vice President and Ministry of Plan Implementation Former Secretary Chandrasena Maliyadde, Senior Economic Advisor to the Former President R. H. S. Samaratunga, ETIS Lanka COO Bram Nicholas , Deloitte Director and Lead Economist Dr. Rumki Majumdar, BRI Sinologist, Visiting Faculty Peace and Conflict
Dr. Samitha Hettige and Former Joint Secretary Government of India Jitendra Kumar.
