The National Human Resources Development Council of Sri Lanka (NHRDC) together with the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management and the Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka, the public sector wing of CA Sri Lanka, have organised a special lecture on the ‘Changing role of the public servant’ on 24 September from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at the auditorium of the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management.
The NHRDC has identified the need to strengthen public sector service delivery and capacity. This will enrich the economy and ultimately lead to higher economic growth.Chairman Vallibel One Plc Dhammika Perera will be the keynote speaker at the event.
The keynote address will conclude with a panel discussion. The panel will comprise Ministry of Highways and Road Development and Petroleum Resources Development Secretary Sunil Hettiarachchi and NHRDC Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody.
