Dr. Senthilverl ups Colombo Fort Land and Building stake to 10%

High net worth investor Dr. T. Senthilverl has crossed the 10% stake mark in Colombo Fort Land and Building Plc.

This is following the acquisition of 433,000 shares at Rs. 32.50 each on Monday which increased his control to 10.01% or 24 million shares, as per a disclosure by SC Securities the buying broker of Dr. Senthilverl.

As of 30 June 2023, Dr. Senthilverl and Senthilverl Holdings held 3.71% and 2.57% stakes respectively.

With latest acquisition, Dr. Senthilverl has become the fifth largest shareholder.

Control of Colombo Fort Land is held by Property and Investment Holdings, Colombo Investment Trust, Colombo Fort Investments PLC and related parties.
