EPF Superintendent clueless about DDO

The Parliament on Saturday was told that even the EPF Superintendent was taken unawares of the Domestic Debt Optimisation and found out about it via social media.

“We had the Superintendent of EPF tell the committee that they don’t even know what this restructuring plan is. They have not been even given. He said he saw it on Facebook. That is the extent to which this enormous, onerous responsibility caste is being exercised,” charged TNA MP S. Sumanthiran, a statement which several Opposition MPs repeated during their comments during the debate on DDO on Saturday.
