Easter Sunday PCoI report handed over to Mahanayaka theros and Archbishop of Colombo

A copy of the final report by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) pertaining to its investigations into the Easter Sunday attacks has been handed over to the Mahanayaka theros and Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said yesterday. 

Mahanayaka of the Malwatta Chapter Most Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Sumangala Thero and Mahanayaka of the Asgiriya Chapter Most Venerable Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thero, were handed the report by the Director General Legal Affairs of the Presidential Secretariat Hariguptha Rohanadheera, at the Malwathu Maha Viharaya and Asgiri Maha Viharaya respectively.

Meanwhile Rohanadheera also handed over a copy of the report to Archbishop of Colombo His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith. The event took place at the Archbishop’s House in Colombo. The final report was presented to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on 1 February at the Presidential Secretariat.
