Employees protest against CEA Chief removal

Employees yesterday staged a protest against the sudden removal of Central Environmental Authority Chairman Venura Fernando outside its premises at Battaramulla. The removal was amidst CEA’s strong stance over the Indian giant Adani’s wind power plants in Sri Lanka which have sparked multiple litigation against their environmental impact. - Pic by Pradeep Pathirana
