The inaugural charter flight of Enter Air arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) on Wednesday connecting Poland and Sri Lanka.
The move signifies the beginning of a series of charter flights scheduled to operate between Warsaw and Colombo till the end of March 2025.
The flight was welcomed with a water salute upon touchdown and the passengers were greeted with a vibrant display of traditional dancers organised by Sri Lanka Tourism.
Enter Air, recognised by its ICAO code “ENT,” is Poland’s premier charter airline and holds the distinction of being the largest company of its kind in the country, as well as the second-largest in the region.
With a reputation for providing high-quality service and ensuring passenger comfort, Enter Air’s foray into the Sri Lankan market is anticipated to further boost the burgeoning tourism sector during this winter season.
